Do you ever wonder how these idiots get to run a country
Of course the student fee cuts, the following protests and provoked violence should be seen for what it is - completely engineered, because when hundreds of thousands protested against going to war....they were ignored anyway
So always ask yourself the question - Who really benefits from these situations.
the students? / the average tax payer? / the governement? / the bankers?
obviously the governement will continue to do everything it can to put and keep as many people in debt and slaving away for their entire lives, so they need to install the debt in people as early as possible
In the grand scheme of the country's debt (which is ficticious anyway and doesn't need to be there) and the cuts needed and the blah blah blah, someone at the Telegraph had this to say:
Student fee 'savings' will fund windmills in Africa
The £2.9 billion the Government will save by increasing tuition fees matches the amount earmarked for a global warming project, finds Christopher Booker.

The cause of the major political story of last week – the row over tuition fees, students rioting and all – was, as we all know, “public spending cuts”. But how much money does the Government actually hope to save on tuition fees? If the immediate problem is our massive state deficit, it seems odd that the Government should risk such unpopularity, not for any immediate saving, but in the hope that it will get the money back over the next 30 years, as students can afford to repay it.
In the short term, the Government’s own projection as to how much it will save is that the funding of university tuition will be cut by £2.9 billion by 2014. As it happens, £2.9 billion is the sum ring-fenced, by the same public spending review, to be given to developing countries to help them fight global warming with windmills and solar panels. It is also slightly less than the £3 billion by which our public debt is rising every week. These much-vaunted “cuts” are not all we are led to believe.
--------
The interest charge on UK governement debt for 2010 is estimated to be £25 - £30 billion (some say £43b). (the Times and the Telegraph )
Good news?

it's been a while
I've not really thought about it, but recent doings make sense when you consider the recent events.....its been a time for spending time with some of great and lovely people I know dotted around....most of it was already planned, but I managed to fit some extra visits in too
So, its been a busy few weeks and internet is not a constant due to the house move (which isn't entirely a bad thing)
Last week there was a fitting send off for Ben, a celebration of his life I think. Friends old and new with a feeling of appreciation for each minute together. A lesson for every
Mostly due to the Tse Qigong Centre, I'm spending nearly every weekend in London atm, which is simply city madness for a country bumpkin like me ;)
Tse Demo was sooo good, if you didn't go then you missed out, simple as, next one probably won't be for another 5 years, was an honour to be part of it.....hopefully I'll be asked again, maybe even for some hard qigong next time which would be rather exciting!
Got to join Volt BMX and friends for the Anthem II Premier.....trekked across on London on buses and trains on a foggy Sunday night but it was well worth it. Thanks to John and co for putting it on....just waiting for my copy now....go buy it, (pre-order here, expected any day now) it won't disappoint!
Got to see my bestest buddy and his family on the south coast last weekend, which was, as always THE BEST x
More Tse Centre stuff last Sunday too, and two meals of some of the finest Chinese food available in London and Birmingham with all many Tse Centre friends this coming weekend....going to be an awesome mega feast x2 :)
Oh yeah, I need to wish a good gent I know a long and happy retirement, he'll never read this but that doesn't matter, he's a good accountant, colleague and friend, have fun Tony, love to you and your family x
Have fun every day

A good man has left us today, he's moved on way before his time should have been up
He was a good fella on all accounts, not a bad word to say about anyone, a good heart and a happy chilled guy.
My love goes out to you and your family and friends
Miss ya man = RIP Ben x x

I wonder - do the French have the answer for 7th December?

I don't mind admitting I was mostly oblivious to the upcoming Royal wedding, but when J asked me how excited I was about it, the first thing that came to mind was; I wonder what bloodline she comes from, and sure enough someone at the Daily Mail had already investigated
Winter Trails
If we can get the drainage dug out properly, and get more tarps to cover the whole of the lines maybe more records can be set for winter riding!
All recent BMX related posts are over on ALV and after seeing the web videos of Autumn PA trails it might just mean a visit is on the cards next October :)

Missed a ferry....
half way through
Had my walking shoes on yesterday, stomping around the islands which I almost had to myself - sweet! It's a bit of a trek from where I'm staying (walk, street car, walk then ferry) but I'm tempted to go back and have a day doing qigong and training there 'cause its so nice and peaceful
View of the islands from the CN Tower
More photos to come but uploading them is a pain in the arse!

Also managed to sniff out Epsom trails for a mooch, it was a sight to behold, shit man that place is sick, so many inspirational spots in England now old and new.....it just seems if your in the midlands you need to be proper west or east side else most people just don't seem into it enough...oh well, it's their loss I guess....J - it's down to me and you bro x

Wouldn’t you like to see a positive LSD story on the news? To hear what it’s all about, perhaps? Wouldn’t that be interesting? Just for once?”Today, a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration — that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There’s no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we’re the imagination of ourselves. Here’s Tom with the weather.”

What do you reckon?
President Barak Obama takes a dip in Gulf of Mexico
"Barack Obama has taken a swim in the Gulf of Mexico in a bid to reassure Americans that the waters are safe despite the recent oil spill.
The US president is on holiday on Florida's Gulf Coast with his family and has also been spotted playing mini golf as he tries to get accross his message that the area is open for business."

OR....
Independent 16 August 2010
President goes for a swim in the Gulf – or does he?
"President Barack Obama wanted to convince America that the Gulf of Mexico remains open for business. But perhaps he didn't want the world to catch another glimpse of his hairless chest.
So when he and his daughter, Sasha, took a dip in the sea off Florida this weekend, only the White House photographer was allowed to capture proceedings.
The official picture was intended to provide evidence that the region's beaches are back to normal. Yet it soon emerged that the private beach on which it was taken, off Alligator Point in St Andrew Bay, north-west Florida, isn't technically in the gulf."
I'm sure a couple of months ago the White House was saying the oil spill is the worst environmental disaster the USA has ever seen, and would take months, even years to clean up
I wonder what has made them want to change the message so quickly?
And....
funny but this guy looks familiar!

Oh Yes!

ONE....more day to go!!!
Just over 4 years ago I started contracting there and just over 3 years ago I took a perm job there. At times its been okay and I cannot deny I have met some really nice people who I will miss, but too much of the time it sucked! It sucked my energy, my happiness and my freedom....
There have been things recently that have made me realise it wouldn't last, as I was ultimately giving too much when there are more rewarding things in life to give to.
It is the eve of the new beginning for me....
I raise a glass to those who have helped me get here....and now the smile of free kag can really spread
Thanks x

Did you see a plane?
Not Surprising?
Todays headlines lead to Yahoo news and where do you think the US and UK aid given to Pakistan could end up?
Two!!
Bankers....
Hopefully this will be the start of the vale lifting on the fraud of the government backed modern banking system and more and more people will be led to ask;
Where do banks get the money they lend from?
Why do governments need to borrow from banks when they saved their asses?
Why do governments let banks charge them interest on the money they gave back to them?
Why is repaying this debt the number one priority of the government, yet it will cost the people their jobs and homes, which the banks end up reclaiming?
I wonder who will always end up winning?

Food glorious food !?!?
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/foodanddrink/foodanddrinknews
Food inflation 'could go beyond 10pc before next year'
The cost of food is likely to jump by up to 10 per cent before Christmas after dry weather drastically reduced the amount of winter feed that farmers could harvest, experts said.
The price of milk, cheese, chicken, beef and pork and associated products are all expected to rise because the industry has been hit by soaring animal feed prices, a shortage of silage and poor harvests.
Food inflation is closely linked to overall inflation and some in the industry have warned it could push the economy towards a "double-dip" recession.

Get well soon Van
July 31st, 2010
You probably heard by now that Van Homan hit his head in X-Games street practice, which put him out of the event. So instead of medals at summer X, he gets a nice relaxing hospital stay. I got some news from Van’s wife Samantha so I thought I’d share. Sounds like he’s doing better. “We are in the ICU, he’s got a skull fracture and a little bit of bruising and a tiny bit of blood on the brain. He’s responsive just tired and antsy. They should be moving him into regular care tomorrow.” Get well soon Van!
