British hypocrisy: Gaddafi; friend or foe
Britain has been a close trade partner of Libya over the past years, yet what London is doing now is hypocritically condemning Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi rather than apologizing for the partnership.
Britain's trade with the Gaddafi regime stood at an estimated £1.5 billion last year - most of its oil imports from Libya -- and London kept its diplomatic ties with Gaddafi well into 2011 after the revolutionaries began fighting against his regime.

ignite
its hard to find out what is the real spark that has ignited these riots. Mostly the mainstream media seem sure it is due to the shooting and death of the guy in Tottenham, but the beating of a 16 year old girl in London seems to be being mostly ignored, if you didn't catch it the first time it was reported

Riots
seems like some are already starting the uprising....looks pretty serious....money talks I guess, so looting is rife in Birmingham and many parts of London
Just been listening to Ken Livingston on BBC website...I'm sure he said there are only 32000 Police in England, and are being outnumbered in various areas

the end of an era
Sometimes things change, and there will be a part of you which doesn't want the change to happen, or at the very least, you would like more time.
You can't stop change, so if on the face of it, you like the changing situation or not, you must take the positives from it. There will be positives even when something comes to an end, as there will always be a new beginning.
Now, I finally understand the saying, 'all good things must come to an end'. I don't believe this is just a statement of how things are, it holds a much deeper meaning too....

How Murdoch ran Britain
Hopefully this whole situation will help the masses realise how the media corporations, (and the select few people at the top of them) affect the running of the country....
